Hi there! Last week did not turn out as I expected. I missed two workout days because I was hit hard with strep throat and was down for the count for a few days. I picked back up with Dynamic Abs on Saturday. I really enjoyed the workout and almost nailed it (aside from a small break doing the pike ups). I enjoyed the mix of cardio abs and floor work at the end. The bicycle v sits were brutal and awesome at the same time. That day followed with ice skating with the kids and outlet shopping. Needless to say, I was spent at the end of the day.
After my rest day Sunday, I did my doubles Friday on Monday (upper focus and core cardio). I loved upper focus. I kept my weights with 8s but hope to get to 12s by the end of beta!
Today I caught up with another double, core cardio and dynamic abs. I was DRIPPING this morning. But it felt amazing. I mostly nailed them both. When I dropped to my knees with almost a minute to go when doing floor sprints I could hear Susan of Les Mills PUMP yelling "no one quits this close to the end" so I popped back up after 2 seconds and plowed through. Ahh, gotta love it.
It is great to be back!!! Sometimes we have setbacks. But this is not a fad for me, it is my life, so I always know I will be back. It took me a long time to get to this place but I made it!
Have an amazing day!
