This morning I had a lot of trouble getting out of bed. Of course, the beauty of T25 is that I can sleep in and still manage to get my workout in. I was a little nervous about today, Total Body Circuit again. Ugh!
Well, I started off more energetic than I expected and made it through the first plank series well (there are 4, the first one is the shoulder taps). And of course in between the plank exercises are lots of other fun exercises. :)
By the second series (plank walk which I always think is pike ups), I was still feeling strong but was grateful to stand back up. When I made it through pike ups I thought I can do this. But I have thought that before. I find it amazing is how much I LOVE the squat with the burpee in this workout because I feel like I am finally releasing some of the tension in my quads (WHAT?!?, I LIKE a burpee?!?).
Then it came, the last plank sequence, culminating with oblique push ups. So, how did I do? Well, I did not push all the way to the floor. Nor did my knees reach my elbows. BUT, I stayed in it!!! And kept it going for the burnout and was actually pretty strong in the shoulder tap push-ups that followed. My floor sprint with 1 1/2 minutes left were part sprint and part walk but I DID it. TBC NAILED!! Woohoo!
Hey if I can do it, so can you!
Have a great day!
